As a writer and communications strategist, I aim to inform and inspire.

I take a research-backed and design-based approach to my work, which begins with a thorough understanding of the audience, subject matter, critical information to be shared, and the overall intent or call-to-action. Through open collaboration, landscape surveys, artistic expression, and what author, ecologist, and conservationist J. Drew Lanham calls the ‘head-to-heart connection’ - a merger of fact and emotion - efficient and effective communications are created for print, web, email, or in-person presentations.

My passions and areas of expertise are fly fishing, outdoor pursuits, and environmental conservation topics. I keep a thesaurus and steady supply of reggae at-hand and plan for ample time on the water to fuel the creative process.
